Langosta
This evening, just as the sun was setting, an elderly gentleman in a traditional wooden canoe paddled up to our porch and offered me lobster; the bottom of his boat was filled with fresh live ones which he was selling for $4 apiece. I knew that my vegetarian husband and daughter and animal-loving son would be horrified at the thought of cooking one alive, as good as a lobster might sound to me, so I declined. He seemed a little dejected, and now I feel like a jerk for not buying one, as I'm sure he's supporting his family by selling them. If he comes back, I'm going to buy a couple and just let them go, and he can catch them again tomorrow.

Kid's in Panama by Josef
All of the kids here speak Spanish and dress up for school.
Some of them don't wear shoes.
Most of them have black hair and brown skin.
There house is kind of rundown.
They are on stilts.
They seem to like swimming.
Some don't where shirts.

Photos on the blog...
Maybe you guys have already figured this out, but I just realized that if you double click a photo, it brings you to a bigger photo gallery page where you can scroll through them all in a larger format. <lightbulb moment> :)
