Bottlenose dolphin science project by Maggie

Bottlenose dolphins
Bottlenose Dolphins are the most common oceanic dolphin.
These dolphins live in pods that typically have ten to thirty members in
them. To get food, Bottlenose Dolphins use Echolocation, which shows them
where their prey is. They talk to each other by using whistles and clicks, and their
prey consists mostly of Tuna Fish. The dolphins main preditors are humans. We kill
these dolphins by netting Tuna Fish. The dolphins don't see the net and become trapped
in the net. Most fisherman are too lazy to cut the dolphins free, so they just pull the dolphins
on board with the fish. Even though dolphins breath air, their skin drys out and they die.
The Bottlenose Dolphin lives in every ocean besides the Artic Ocean. Bottlenose Dolphins
are about as smart as humans. These are some facts about Bottlenose Dolphins.
